In breast cancer awareness campaign this month, a sea of pink ribbons and supporters across the country gathered for a series of events.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer and the leading cause of cancer death in women worldwide. In Colorado, which affects one in seven women, according to Susan G. affiliates Komen Denver. Put in perspective, if kept statistics, the three of us when the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders 26 to be tested. Breast cancer affects everyone, not just the person examined. Co-survivors (family, friends and co-workers) feel the effects as well.
Therefore, the Broncos fans, I urge you to join us in supporting breast cancer awareness campaign throughout the month of October. Sign up at the Race for the Cure in Denver, or a commitment to "Sleeping on the cure" if you can not. Add a touch of pink on the day of Game Accessories Broncos game on Oct. 9. All of us have, or are affected by this disease to some degree, for example by supporting efforts to find drugs that thundering power we know we can here at the Broncos home.
