Any fans worried if Jennifer Lawrence are going to be able to bring the suitable level of toughness to her role as Katniss Everdeen in "The Hunger Games" -- gap in theaters nationwide this Friday, March twenty three -- needn't worry. She managed to offer co-star Josh Hutcherson a concussion, and also the cameras weren't even rolling in line with the story he told David Letterman on "Late Show" (Weeknights, 11:35 p.m. ET on CBS).
Move over Edward Cullen and Jacob Black, there’s a replacement love triangle causing spirited dialogue and women to swoon.

In The Hunger Games movie out Friday, fans tend to own a powerful opinion about whether or not the story’s protagonist, Katniss Everdeen, should be paired with her best friend Gale Hawthorne or her fellow Games contender, Peeta Mellark.

In real life, 19-year-old Josh Hutcherson, who plays Mellark, isn’t selecting sides. Instead, he joked he’s backing a romance between Katniss, portrayed by Jennifer Lawrence, and her often-inebriated Hunger Games mentor, Haymitch, played by Woody Harrelson.

Understandably, Lawrence immediately felt terrible about it. Hutcherson described himself holding an ice pack on his head in one hand whereas rubbing her back and trying to inform her that it absolutely was okay with the other. One thing's needless to say, though, Lawrence will clearly beware of herself if she had to.

"The Hunger Games" opens nationwide on Friday, March 23. "Late Show With David Letterman" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on CBS.
