Erika Ross Smith, who worked in the team's community relations department, alleges that Ellis sent her express messages up to several times daily and even sent a photograph of his genitals to her work-issued cellphone.
Erika Ross Smith, a former Golden State Warriors employee, filed a sexual harassment lawsuit on Wednesday alleging that star guard Monta Ellis started sending her racy text messages in November 2010, one in all which included a photograph of his genitals.
According to the Associated Press, the messages included lines like "Hey sexy," and "I wish to be with you." Smith would often reply, "What do you want?" or "I am sleeping."
Smith3Smith, who is additionally suing the soldiers, claims in the lawsuit that her job title was changed which she eventually was fired after Ellis' wife discovered the text messages and complained to team officials in January. The lawsuit claims wrongful termination, retaliation, intentional infliction of emotional distress and seeks unspecified damages.
Smith's lawyer says his client felt scared and helpless.
