I've always loved this ad - Richard Dreyfuss said Voiceover for the original commercial that aired, but only saw the version narrated Steve Work 1997 (which never aired) makes the message more powerful by his death last week.
Work Steve madman, a visionary, a leader. Really see different things - from Pixar, iPod, iPhone, iPhone and more - he has changed many industries, creating a completely new culture, and revolutionized the technology and business landscape as we know it today.
They have inspired the company, industry, Mac fans and the world for the better
Core goals and live your best, Steve inspiring others around him to play a bigger game.
Maybe he knows when he recorded this commercial, but as you read these words, describe the legacy of his own future.
When work Steve recorded in 1997 - no iPod, iTunes, App Store, iPhone, iPad, or OSX Macbook, and certainly not Apple largest companies in the world.
In 1997, Jobs returned only Steve Apple - forced to resign after 12 years before Apple - he founded Pixar and later during the year
X2y2z fight again, and go as CEO for fundamental change. The next 14 years serving as CEO - Apple do to master the world of technology, music and technology and become the largest company in the world sees things differently.
He stated this to the audience at the 1997 MacWorld expo just a few months after returning to Apple:
“If we want to move forward and see Apple healthy and prospering again, we have to let go of a few things here. We have to let go of this notion that for Apple to win, Microsoft has to lose. We have to embrace a notion that for Apple to win, Apple has to do a really good job. And if others are going to help us that’s great, because we need all the help we can get, and if we screw up and we don’t do a good job, it’s not somebody else’s fault, it’s our fault.”
